At Jump River Ridge cabins, there are activities for your family to enjoy year-round. In winter, the river becomes a natural snow-mobile highway with a direct link to the best trails. Spring is the best time to canoe, when the water level is highest. It's also fun to explore nature's new flowers and life on the hiking trails. In summer, your children will delight in playing in the river beds in search of clam shells and pretty river stones for their collections; and the fishermen in your family will enjoy catching bass, muskies, and northern pike.Wisconsin is lucky to have a good, naturally reproducing lake sturgeon population in several of its river systems including the Jump River and the nearby Chippewa River. With autumn comes the splendor of the changing leaves and crisp air. In addition, the Jump River Ridge property is designated a Wisconsin hunting preserve and private hunting opportunities for a number of game species can be arranged in advance. Any time of year, you can take in the area's many activities and events. |

Our cabins are both located on the shore of the Jump River about one hour North of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and two hours East of St. Paul, Minnesota. Please call 715-404-7030 or email Jump River Ridge for additional information, travel distances and directions. The Antler and the Angler cabins are connected by two miles of gravel roads which are ideal for hiking, ATV's and horse back riding. We offer year round hunting privileges on our wooded land, with special focus on turkey and deer hunting seasons. Ask about RV and tent sites. |
